Reflex Integration: Identifying and working through retained primitive reflexes that may be impacting a child's coordination, balance, and classroom focus.
-
Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, hands on therapeutic approach that utilizes light touch techniques to address areas of tension and promote relaxation and regulation within the body. Within occupational therapy, CST may be incorporated as a complementary intervention to support sensory regulation, body awareness, postural organization, and overall participation in functional activities.
At In Bloom, craniosacral techniques are individualized based on each child’s clinical presentation, sensory needs, and functional goals. CST may be integrated with therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re education, positioning, functional mobility, and play based interventions to support the child’s ability to participate in meaningful daily activities.
CST is provided as part of a comprehensive occupational therapy plan of care and is selected when clinically appropriate based on the child’s individual needs and treatment goals.
